1. Agreement and Scope
These Terms govern access to and use of Doc Writer, including related websites, dashboards, generation workflows, downloads, and support channels. By accessing or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.
2. Eligibility and Authority
You represent that you are legally able to enter into this agreement and, if acting for an organization, you are authorized to bind that organization. Access may be restricted where prohibited by applicable law.
3. Accounts and Security
You are responsible for maintaining credential confidentiality and for all activity under your account or workspace access. You must promptly notify support of suspected unauthorized access or security incidents.
4. Permitted Use
You may use Doc Writer to generate and manage documents from content you are authorized to process. Use must comply with applicable laws, contractual obligations, and organizational policies.
5. Prohibited Activities
You must not misuse the service, interfere with infrastructure, bypass safeguards, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer restricted components, upload unlawful content, or use the platform to infringe rights of others.
6. User Content and Rights
You retain ownership of your uploaded templates, topics, and generated outputs, subject to applicable organizational policies. You grant Doc Writer a limited license to host, process, transform, and transmit your content solely to operate and support the service.
7. Intellectual Property
Except for user content, all service software, branding, design, and documentation remain property of Doc Writer or its licensors. No implied license is granted beyond what is necessary to use the service as permitted by these Terms.
8. Service Changes and Availability
Features may evolve, be suspended, or be discontinued at any time. While we aim for high availability, uptime and turnaround are not guaranteed and may be affected by maintenance, dependencies, or external events.
9. AI-Assisted Output Disclaimer
Generated content may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or formatting issues. You are responsible for validating all outputs before submission, publication, legal use, or reliance in academic or professional contexts.
10. Fees and Billing (If Applicable)
Paid features, if offered, are subject to plan terms, billing cycles, and payment method requirements. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
11. Suspension and Termination
Access may be suspended or terminated for policy violations, legal requirements, security risk, or non-payment where applicable. Upon termination, rights to use the service cease, subject to any post-termination data access terms in your plan or contract.
12. Confidentiality
Each party agrees to protect non-public information received from the other party using reasonable safeguards and to use such information only for purposes related to service delivery, support, and compliance.
13. Warranties Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Doc Writer and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising from or related to service use.
15. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Doc Writer and its affiliates from claims, damages, and costs arising from your content, misuse of the service, or breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by applicable law specified by your service agreement or organizational contract. Disputes will be handled through the agreed dispute process and competent venue, subject to mandatory consumer protections where applicable.
17. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The revised version becomes effective when published unless a later effective date is stated. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
18. Contact
For contract, compliance, or policy questions, contact your organization administrator or your designated support channel.
